The artisan who made history
Degano srl was founded at the beginning of the 1960s as an artisan workshop for the production of sheet metal works. It was not until the 1970s that the company moved to its new premises in Adegliacco, next to the Pontebbana state road.
In 1977, on account of the large number of orders, Lattoneria Commerciale di Degano Primo was founded, a wholesale and retail warehouse for sheet metal works, fittings and accessories. This company was later incorporated into Degano Primo srl.
The conversion from a general partnership to the more structured formula of a limited liability company took place in 1980.
From modern to contemporary
2006 was the year of international expansion: Degano Rijeka doo, based in the city of Rijeka (Fiume), was established. It was a strategic move that proved to be an immediate success, with steady and consistent interest from Slovenia and Croatia.
And so the know-how and craftsmanship built up over the years began to be recognised beyond the borders. Just like in Italy, the range of products and services provided is comprehensive, from consulting to specialised customised solutions.
In the same year, the headquarters in Adegliacco were completed with the construction of a warehouse for the sale and distribution of insulating panels. In 2012, the Degano name expanded to Trieste with the opening of a new warehouse.
In harmony with the surrounding environment
Year after year, Degano has expanded its portfolio to include the fabrication and installation of civil and industrial metal roofing systems for the private and public sectors. To support these activities, the company has added the removal and disposal of roofs containing asbestos to its range of services.
The highly personalised custom solutions delivered by Degano are created in synergy with outstanding architects and designers in continuity with the history, culture and aesthetics of the surrounding landscape in which they are developed.
